22nd June 2023: We hosted a community networking event for NCN members on the sidelines of the Africa Energy Forum. With more than 100 members in attendance it was great to see connections and collaborations being forged across our community!

18th May 2023: Local communities are a critical part of solving the climate crisis. Activists, innovators and entrepreneurs in Kenya are creating solutions and envisaging a sustainable future using the power of art, design innovation, and creativity as catalysts for social change.
Learning Event - Climate Fresk
6th May 2023: ClimateFresk is a collaborative workshop designed to learn about the causes and implications of #ClimateChange in a fun and scientific way. Anyone can play, from novices to experts. For members of NCN, it was an opportunity to gain perspective on the systemic aspect of the climate crisis, where multiple causes and interdependence's call for many different solutions.

23rd March 2023: Climate Impact Partners and NCN hosted a ‘Carbon Markets Breakfast’ with a group of industry leaders to discuss carbon market policy and Article 6 context in East Africa.
Learning Event - Ngong Road Forest
18th March 2023: Members of NCN took part in a community walking tour of Ngong Road Forest, led by the very knowledgeable scouts from the Community Forest Association. We learnt about the incredible biodiversity, riparian ecosystems and livelihoods that this forest supports as the largest urban green space in Nairobi.
Learning & Networking Event - Art x Climate
4th March 2023: We explored topics from the built environment's role in defining and shaping culture and sustainability, tackling plastic pollution through innovation, art and heritage, plus art and its role in youth climate activism.
Networking Event - New Year at Nabo Bistro
2nd February 2023: We kicked off the New Year with a networking event at Nabo Bistro in Kileleshwa with more than 100 members of the community in attendance.
