NCN was thrilled to co-host the launch of the book Scaling Impact: Finance and Investment for a Better World by Kusi Hornberger, together with Sponsors Dalberg Advisors.
The event saw an intimate discussion between climate finance leaders led by panellists Seema Dhanani, CFA from BII, Marcus Watson from KawiSafi, Dorothy Maseke from ICEA Lion and Nicera Wanjiru from Community Mappers.
We discussed the importance of working in a cross-sector and cross-industry approach to tackle climate finance barriers, and the need for a more patient and risk-tolerant approach, bringing communities into the conversation with the right language and engagement – and turning all the talk into action.
The discussion was followed by an evening reception at Capital Club to launch the book, with signed copies by the author up for grabs.
