The Nairobi Journalist Climate Ecosystem Tour
8th March 2024: NCN worked with the Constructive Institute to host a group of 20 international journalists on a climate ecosystem tour showcasing some of our member organisation’s climate solutions. Journalism and storytelling play a pivotal role in driving climate action forward. Bringing journalists to witness, learn, and engage firsthand with these innovative climate solutions provides them with a solid foundation and understanding of Africa’s diverse climate solutions in practice.
NCN at the Africa Climate Tech & Investment Summit
13th-15th February 2024: NCN partnered with Africa Tech Summit 2024 to help bring the climate agenda to the Summit for its 2024 edition. As the climate-tech industry grows in prominence and opportunities in Kenya, investor attention on climate solutions is growing. By partnering with the summit, we wanted to showcase the climate tech solutions being led by our members and raise the profile of the climate agenda at the Summit.
Networking Event: January Members Networking Event
18th January 2024: To kickstart the new year, NCN hosted its members to a networking event hosted at the colorful Kenyan Original Kraft Room in Westlands. This event helped members to reconnect after the holidays and share their plans for 2024, as well as hear from the Nairobi City County Government.
NCN’s End of Year Party!
24th November 2023: NCN was excited to bring together its dedicated members and partners for a spirited End-of-Year Party at the enchanting Nairobi Railways Museum. The event was a festive tribute to our collective accomplishments, an expression of gratitude, and a chance to revel in the vibrant community we've become. Amidst drinks, food, and dance, the evening also featured a glimpse into NCN's plans for 2024.
Learning Event - Bio-Circular Food Chains and E-Mobility in Kenya
November 11, 2023: NCN hosted a learning event focusing on E-mobility and Bio Circular Food Chains. The event was co-hosted by BasiGo and INSECTIPRO, two of the most innovative climate startups in the country, and was a fun and informative day out for 35 lucky NCN members!

2nd November 2023: In the wake of the Clean Cooking Week NCN and Burn Manufacturing brought together professionals from the Clean Cooking Industry for a cocktail networking event at Bamba, a vibrant new bar in Lavington.
Networking Event - Open Networking Happy Hour
5th October, 2023: NCN hosted an Open Networking Happy Hour at the Vanguard Lounge in Westlands. This gathering provided an engaging platform for professionals from diverse climate action industries to connect, share insights, and forge meaningful relationships in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Networking Event - Africa Climate Summit
4th September 2023: We were delighted to host the official networking side-event on the day 1 of the Africa Climate Summit. Entitled "Networking with Africa's Climate Leaders", the event provided our members with a unique platform to engage with prospective partners, collaborators, investors, suppliers, and customers attending ACS.
Learning Event - Cross Laminated Timber Prototype
29th July 2023: NCN members embarked on a visit to the Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) Prototype at BuildX Studio, unearthing the promise of Mass Timber construction - an innovative approach to sustainable building that could reshape the future of urban development.

11th July 2023: Together with our sponsor Climate Impact Partners, we brought together 60+ experienced carbon professionals (NCN’s Carbon Markets Working Group) for an event entitled "Driving Quality to Increase Scale in the Voluntary Carbon Market" held at the Social House, for our first in-person gathering after the launch of the Working Group in April!
