The Kenya Climate Directory (KCD) is Kenya’s centralised climate information repository, offering 1,300+ knowledge resources across more than 110 climate and nature-related themes. With 10,000 website visits to date, the directory features an optimised search database, allowing users to find and download resources tailored to their needs.
KCD serves a diverse user base, including the general public, researchers, government entities, climate organisations, private companies, and NGOs. KCD aggregates various climate products and knowledge, including multiple databases, making this information easily accessible to the public.
NCN is excited to partner with KCD to enhance access to climate resources in Kenya. This collaboration strengthens our shared mission to accelerate climate action by providing valuable resources to the climate community. As part of the partnership, NCN will feature research papers, policy briefs, thought leadership articles, reports, and publications from the Kenya Climate Directory. Additionally, NCN members will have the opportunity to share their own resources for inclusion in the Kenya Climate Directory, promoting easy access to vital climate information.
KCD plans to expand and replicate the directory across Africa, aligning with The Climate Network’s goal of building local chapters of climate professionals throughout the continent.
